 Çelikay Mutfak Eşyaları San. Ve Tic. AŞ (Çelikay Kitchen Supplies Industry and Trade Joint Stock Company) was founded by Ali Rıza ÇELİKAY in 1968. Having opened its first store in Ankara in 1990, Çelikay is successfully engaged in specialty store operations in the field of domestic and industrial kitchen supplies for 40 years. Immediately after its establishment, the company started having a rapid period of growth, succeeding to maintain its commercial operations without any interruption until 1990, after which it proceeded with the production stage. Initially, it started production in the field of industrial kitchens, followed by cooking appliances and equipment, coolers, dish washers and equipment; later, the company has achieved a complete of range of products in the industry by adding counters, service carts, preparation units, fume hoods, storage and stowing units and any other industrial kitchen supplies to its scope of operation. In the ensuing years, it has managed to maintain its operations by meticulously following the requirements on both nationwide and industrial basis and expanding its production and sales activities in different areas. In October 2000, it moved to the Household Articles Market, the first of its kind in Turkey, which has space of 10,000 m2, where the company presently maintains its operations. (4,000 m2 is allocated for an area accommodating industrial kitchen supplies for wholesaling purposes while 6,000 m2 is used for retailing of quality kitchenware offering shoppers a rich variety of products.) Our store, which is the first of its type in Turkey, presently operates at the same location. Without having to spend much time at an intensive life tempo, shoppers visiting our store can easily find a rich variety of quality products ranging from sets of forks and knives, plastic kitchen products, curtains, sleeping sets, bed sheets and linens, bathing clothes, towels and table covers to any kinds of metal – steel kitchenware, consumer durables and home textiles in all categories at affordable prices and at one stop. In addition, prices matching quality are offered in a manner most convenient for shoppers apart from many other advantages and conveniences. By identifying the industrial requirements in the field of traffic sign equipment, ÇELİKAY has captured a leading and justifiable position among the industry’s pioneers thanks to its wide range of products in meeting such requirements. Our company serves the Highways General Directorate, municipalities and private organizations with its experienced and dynamic teams and TSE certified products produced in compliance with international quality standards. The requirement for glass fuel sampling bottles, which arises as part of the legal amendment as well as natural necessities is also met by ÇELİKAY. It has achieved production of glass sampling bottles for the first time apart from the sampling bottles produced from glass and plastic in the market. Our company has achieved the first of its kind in this sense and without compromising quality, it has successfully added yet another product to its range of products with the production it carries out as per TS 13316. Parallel to the developments occurring both locally and internationally in the ensuing process, it embarked on R & D works for water treatment devices, starting their production and as a result, a treated water dispenser, which can be used in houses, offices, messes, elderly care centers and any private and public locations, is produced under the brand name, NANOWATER, having specifications for production of high quality drinking water, which eliminate viruses, bacteria and many chemicals in city supply network water. The product is put on sale at many chain stores and markets operating nationwide in Turkey and its sales presently continue at an increased momentum. The company is now the most preferred brand name for both public and private sectors thanks to its quality products, after sales technical support and capability for timely delivery. It is capable of developing quality and low cost products rapidly thanks to advanced technologies used in production, offering them to customers guaranteeing full satisfaction.
